Sebastián Marenco ( SAMADHI SOUND SYSTEM ) is a musician, producer, drummer/percussionist, and live electronic artist, born in Barranquilla (COLOMBIA). 

He is the founder and director of Samadhi Sound System, a project dedicated to sonic exploration, free improvisation, and live electronic synthesis. Founded in 2012, Samadhi Sound System emerged from Marenco’s early passion for musical composition and digital synthesis. After studying Afro-Caribbean rhythms in Cuba and graduating in Music with a specialization in Jazz Drums, he developed a distinctive sound rooted in both tradition and experimentation. 

Samadhi Sound System has created hundreds of original works, merging ancestral Colombian and Afro-Caribbean music with 21st-century electronic innovation. His live performances—driven by modular synthesizers, analog machines, and free improvisation—generate immersive soundscapes that evolve in real time.

He has collaborated with renowned artists  enriching the project with deep cultural authenticity and international dimension. With over two decades of experience, he continues to expand Colombia’s musical frontiers—bridging tradition and innovation, the ancestral and the futuristic—through an ever-evolving dialogue between rhythm, technology, and spirit.
